Signs and Symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes

Individuals may not develop signs and symptoms of Type 2 diabetes until the blood glucose level is above 180mg/dL. Signs and symptoms may include:

Weakness and fatigue
Weight loss
Excessive hunger and thirst
Frequent urination
Blurred vision
Irritability
Fungal infections (such as vaginal candidiasis)
Children may have difficulty functioning at school
