Vaccinations

The National Kidney Foundation recommends the following vaccinations for persons with renal disease (recommendations are somewhat different for persons who have undergone a renal transplant - check with your doctor):

Diptheria-Tetanus (Dt)
Hepatitis B
Pneumococcal
Influenza
Chickenpox
Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) if needed
Hemophilus influenza type b (Hib) if needed
Meningococcal (meningitis) if needed
