Diagnosis of Secondary Sjogren's Syndrome

The diagnosis of secondary Sjogren's syndrome requires the following:

• Presence of an underlying connective tissue disorder
• One sicca syndrome (dry eye or dry mouth)
• Two signs (objective measures) of dry mouth and dry eye
