Diagnosis of Meniere's Disease
Signs and Symptoms of Meniere's Disease
Some patients report that tinnitus either commences or intensifies just prior to an episode of vertigo.
Aural Fullness
The feeling of aural fullness cannot be documented on any test. It is described as the sensation of needing to "pop" one's ears, however, swallowing or chewing does not bring relief. Some patients also report feeling pressure anywhere in the head or neck region. Aural fullness is the least bothersome and interfering symptom of Meniere's disease.
