Diagnosis of Erectile Dysfunction
The primary symptom of erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability to attain and maintain an erection sufficient to achieve penetration and to complete sexual intercourse. Although the severity of ED is often described in the medical literature as "mild", "moderate", or "severe", there are no generally accepted guidelines to precisely define these terms.
